Queue the background story - As you all know, Simpson’s Bridal is a family owned local business in the heart of historic downtown Monroe, NC. “Simpsons” was derived from the original founding owners in 1978. The boutique was then purchased in 1985 by Don and Mary Taylor, however, the business and name were so successfully established at this point, the name “Simpsons” remained despite the new owners. The efforts of the Taylor’s and God’s blessings brought great success to the Simpson’s business. In 2005, Mary Taylor retired and her daughter, Krista purchased the business.

 

As a recent newlywed herself, Krista continues to operate the business today! She has two sons, Dex & Zach that have essentially “grown up” in the shop. For what started as a family affair, (a relationship much like that of a mother and daughter), provided an opportunity for Kylie Emery Honeycutt to partner with Krista as a co-owner. It began 16 years ago as a professional connection & has blossomed into a partnership built on trust, mutual respect, shared values/faith & genuine love for each other. As they join their talents, passions, and vision; Their partnership represents more than a business venture; It is the coming together of family, friendship & purpose.
